As the Executive Head Teacher of both Infant & Nursery and Boldmere Junior School, I am delighted to welcome you and your child to our school.
Having been the substantive Head Teacher of the Junior School for 8 years, I am excited at my new role as Executive Head Teacher. In my current role, I already work in collaboration with the Infant staff, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the children. Whilst it is of the upmost importance to retain the individualiy of provision being offered in both schools, greater collaboration and partnership will be of huge benefits to our children at Boldmere.
I am really looking forward to working alongside Mrs Kenny who will be the Head of the Infant & Nursery School, and Mrs Silverwood who will be Head of the Juniors.
I feel incredibly proud and privileged to be given the opportunity to embark upon this new role which as part of our Full Governing Body succession arrangements has been planned for. It is essential that the transition into our new roles by Mrs Kenny, Mrs Silverwood and I is done as smoothly as possible, in order for us to have the continual success of our high performing schools,

E-Safety and Cyberbullying
In the wake of recent figures of an 88% increase in calls to Childline about cyberbullying in the last five years, it is crucial that schools know how to effectively prevent and respond to cyberbullying.
To support schools in developing effective strategies, Childnet has launched new cyberbullying guidance developed with input from young people, schools and experts across the UK. Click the link for more information.
